meterpai Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 first it was my turbo, then it was my astrea...they both shot out streams of this white slime similar to semen. will this have any adverse effect on my tank? and the funny thing is that my bi color will wait for this and eat it all up as it's coming out! rics4me Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 No need to worry. Mine have done the same, especially my turbos. I have seen both "semen" and eggs being ejected from various specimens. In my tank it almost seems contagious, one starts and the rest follow. Just make sure they don't overwhelm your system by using either carbon or a good protein skimmer. Link to comment
