lgreen
[moderator] = 0 mol adin / 1 L can't divide zero by one. sorry. Link to comment
adinsxq
i guess jeremai wins the race to coldwater/anemones by entering first Link to comment
jeremai
It's not a race without competition, and so far I'm the only one with a tank under 70 degrees. Besides, you already have the livestock! Link to comment
supernip
I guess I'll have to change my entry then. Temperate reef, hypothesis: lower temperatures allow for more flexibility. 68-72F it is Link to comment
jeremai
You mean run a 'tropical' setup at those temps? Most temperate livestock won't survive long much past 65 degrees... Link to comment
supernip
i havent set up a specific temp yet. Im going to see what animals are appropriate first Link to comment
adinsxq
my LAS (local anemone supplier!) has Cladactella manni (i think). add to the collection? i've submitted a request to my acrylic guy, but i don't think the tank will be built by the entry deadline Link to comment
jeremai
Those are the Hawaiian reds, right? Not as nice as the others, but still more unusual than most people have. I say pick up a few. Link to comment
Tony
I sure wish I could have joined but no job means no money... Link to comment
supernip
mann's are hardy as heck and sticky as heck. I gots one before, remember? I might be able to pick up another at a particularly shady asian lfs. Anecdotal evidence from some dude has implied that they are hard to keep but I found mine to be a voracious eater and capable of handling a large delta T as well. will post pics tomorrow if I go through with purchase. mann's= penas anemone Link to comment
adinsxq
passed on the anemone... got some zoos instead :x Link to comment
adinsxq
acrylic guy isn't going to be finished in time for the 20th deadline guess i'll try to dig up a 10g and go stock very Link to comment
Prowland
Just go to where the guy is making the tank and put a drink in what he has done so far... I am just looking for excuses to keep you in the custom as I am trying to get my stuff together for the stock haha Link to comment
