Brianc_4 Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 What do you mean "sitting"? like on the bottom of the tank. Or do you mean they are swimming in a small area of the tank. It is not unusual for percs to take a liking to a certain area of the tank and stick with it. Maybe has to do with the the whole instinct to take a host. Mine have stayed within eight inches of my HOB for 10 months now. But if you mean actually sitting not swimming, they are either shocky from the transistion or they're is a problem with water chemistry. Test your water to be safe. Good luck;) Link to comment

CRG Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 I recently put two percs in my tank and they did the same thing for about 3 days...just swimming in small circles near the front glass. Since that time, however, they have been much more active and now swim throughout the tank. I say give it a few days and see what happens. Link to comment
