bluebastion
Here's a pic of my newly arrived BSJ.... he recently came out of hiding all day but only to swim in short bursts, then... like he's spent all his energy... almost plop down on whatever he can perch on.... very very clumsily. Supposedly, he was just "de-wormed" before he was shipped.... here's the clincher... what you can see is that at times he has pieces of "flesh" hanging out of his mouth, and his belly is swollen. Can someone who has had major experience with parasites and marine fish chime in? And also, I had never heard of such a thing as "de-worming" for fish... is this common practice? Here's some pics: flesh hanging out of mouth bloated belly: Link to comment
idog
Maybe de-wormed means dosed with cyanide for capture... Is your LFS reputable? Link to comment
FryedFish
Doesn't look anything like Cyanide! If anything its fungal Link to comment
