coralife water resistant endcaps help lighting

Hey I wanted to add a little more light in my system in the eclipse hood without over heating everything. I wanted to add two 24 inch 18watt coralife bulbs (one 10k and one actinic) that can be turned on at different times (so i can run on timers) using the coralife t-8 water resistant endcaps I see all over the internet, however what do I connect the endcaps to? They just come with endcaps and 9ft wire coming out of them What kind of ballast? and how do i rig a ballast so it can be plugged into the wall?

Anyone a good electrician out there or done this before?

Those endcaps should connect to an appropriate ballast. The ballast you will need will depend on what kind of bulbs you want to run i.e. NO, VHO, etc. The ballast should come with proper wiring diagrams that show you how to connect the endcaps and a plug (if not already installed).
