Hey everyone. Heres the master plan. I have a 80 gallon tank with about 5 africans in it and i have a 30 gallon tank with two damsels and a clown. i want to get some yellow tangs pretty bad so im thinkin off making the the 80g a saltwater and the 30g the freshwater. ill probably get rid of some of my africans but put a few in the 30g and put all my live rock and stuff from the 30 to the 80. how long do you think it would take for my 80 gallon tank to cycle? and are yellow tangs hardy or not? also it would cost less because i have a reef right now and the 80 will be a FOWLR which will cost a lot less im going to sell my lighting on ebay and get some NO bulbs for the 80. Ill have to sell my anemone and clown. anyways what major preporations would i have to take?

yellow tangs are one of the hardier tangs. I personally wouldn't advise getting more than 2 tangs in an 80. They need a lot of swimming room. If they become stressed, they will get ich and then the problems start....:
