Raise Posted June 1, 2003 Share Posted June 1, 2003 SAT is bacteria. I think by adding the bacteria to your tank they feed on the same things that fuel hair algea. Depleting the foodsource for the algea will cause its demise. I think thats how it goes. Link to comment
