formerly icyuodd/icyoud2
is the fission small enough? http://www.marineandreef.com/shoppro/fission_skimmer.htm Link to comment
The Unit
i have an AC300 that i would like to fit a small skimmer in...i dont think that would fit...but it does look nice quick thought here... I found this site and the unit has two ways of using the pump, on the bottom and on the side. Now if the unit is shorter than 6" with the pump on the side than i think it will fit in the AC300..take a look at the pic http://www.current-usa.com/fission.html Link to comment
formerly icyuodd/icyoud2
The unique submersible design fits into almost any nano reef, nano cube, nano-style aquarium system (6.5" H x 2" Dia.). you can also mount the pump beside the skimmer and use the u tubing. but yeah, worst case its 6.5" with the pump mounted dirrectly into the skimmer. im not sure but i think those dimensions exclude the pump Link to comment
travisurfer
i wouldnt buy the fission skimmer. i think you are better off with an air driven counter current skimmer. Link to comment
o-nano
The fission is junk. By far the worst item I ever bought. Made microbubbles and produced zero skim. Pass on it, I wish I had. Link to comment
