manni Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 Guys, posted a month or so ago about a pico project I was working on...finally got round to makin the tanks as I didnt like the smaller ones that were availbale in the uk and jus wanted to have a go at makin my own... What do you think, all acrylic, my first go at making them gotta tidy up the sealant and glue... Link to comment

manni Posted September 2, 2006 Author Share Posted September 2, 2006 cheers, for the main lighting, i'm thinking of using 3 luxeon k2 led's, 4 or 6 luxeon III leds, 2 luxeon star led's, 3 blue luxeon stars basically 9 of the powerful luxeons and 5 of the standard 1w types this lighting will be supplemented by an array of 12000 mcd led's any thoughts on the lighting? too little/much? manni Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share Posted September 3, 2006 nope its not copper or brass, not sure what it is but i do knw its meant to be anti corrosion hopefully should be ok, i'll b using a polyfilter before the water enters the fuge in the back so hopefully that will serve as extra protection to remove heavy metals...
