Carl_in_Florida
My 2.5 has been running for a while. What do you think the best fish for a pico is? Link to comment
brent-konieczny
That is a very vague question. Many different kinds of small fish will thrive in a properly set up 2.5. First, give us a list of some fish you were hoping to be compatable. Then maybe we can narrow it down for you. Link to comment
OIIIIIO
TANGS! jk. I don't think any fish would appreciate being locked up in a 2.5, but if I were to choose, I'd pick a clown goby. Link to comment
oogie
Actually, imo, there aren't many fish that can thrive in 2.5 gallon. I think it would be best to go fishless in that size tank but if you really want to try, get Neon Goby of any color variation. Some of the popular nano-fish like Clowns and Damsels are not suitable for 2.5 G imo. Link to comment
Dat_Monkey
A yasha haze goby would do it.. Link to comment
mickey85
Neon goby, clown goby or a striped goby (the green and white one with the red and white head...) Link to comment
Ryan_H
clown gobies are awesome, neon gobies work (although can be a little touchey), redhead gobies, rose banded goby, green-lined goby, yasha goby, among others. look under "nano fish" at liveaquaria.com for fish under 2". Link to comment
