willtel
In a few weeks my new tank will be ready for it's first fish. I think I have already picked out what I want but I need to know what fish to put in first to minimize the stress on them. I wan to get a royal gramma a false percula clown and a sixline wrasse. I'm thinking the wrasse should go in last because they can be aggressive. How long do I wait between each fish? Link to comment
sjpresley
Well....you've got 3 pretty aggressive fish there. But perc's seem the most territorial, so you might add that last. How big is the tank? The wrasse and gramma may not tolerate eachother over the long run. Link to comment
willtel
The tank is an 18 gallon cube. Do you think I would be better off with a Red Headed Goby instead of the Gramma? Link to comment
sjpresley
Don't know, I had an "antenna goby" with my 6-lined. The wrasse ignored him for quite some time. Then one day the goby was hiding in the back and when it came out to eat the 6-lined chased him.....it wasn't easy to catch a scared fish in a reef tank. Link to comment
