I used it and it was way too much for my 1 gallon raising the temps from 78-79 to 89 and 90 degrees at 1st and then only fluctuated between 85 and 90 day/night. I ended up with an adjustable 25watter that almost never turned on but kept temps stable around 78 to 80 degrees. Link to comment
