Yup
What is the best way to take a tank pic w/digital? Room lights on or off, tank lights on or off, and flash on or off? I'd like to get some good pics tonight but by the time I get home I won't have too much time to play! Link to comment
TiGs
For a digital camera I usually have the tank lights on and make sure that there is no glare from any other other light source in the room and use a camera stand or something to help keep the camera steady. Flash shouldnt be needed if tank lights are on. Link to comment

xofinnocent
also most modern dig cams have a micro shot function that serves for close ups- you will know when you need it when you get close up and its all fuzzy- many people here suffer from lack of such knowledge. Link to comment
