Glass hinge?

Does anyone know of a reliable way to hinge a glass cover on a tank? I would obviously want something that can attach to the glass, can withstand heat, and not block much, if any, light. TIA.

The only hinges i've ever seen have been of the hard plastic variety.......that's what is on my 46 AGA Bow - it's black and covers each edge of the glass about 1/4". I haven't ever seen it available for purchase though...

How about good ol' fashion clear tape.

Not that cheapo-ghetto crap.....but good, quality, thick 3M stuff. It has worked great for me.

As Beavis would say: "Uhhhhh.....sorry 'bout that!"

I know the tape works great for all fluorescent applications (I've got it on 10 tanks.....fish and frog). But, if the temp is above ~95 degrees at the glass I say no!
