SirHelm
Hi there. I am a newbie of all newbies when it comes to salt. I know my way around freshwater.....currently have a 100 gallon and a 25 gallon freshwater tanks. But I have no experience with saltwater. I have some space on my desk for a small tank (10-15 gallons), and I really want to give a nano-reef a shot. However I have no idea what to get. I currently have nothing, and want to set something up which is relativley cheap, and easy to take care of. I would like to have some nice looking shrimp, some sort of corals, some ployps, a couple of clown fish and anaoemes. Thats it. So guys help me out. What do I need to get?? And what is the cheapest way to get it?? Thanks SH Link to comment

tonkadawg
What OscarBeast said. The more time you put into QUALITY research, the better prepared you will be for a nano. Do some searches on new setups, filtration, cycling, lighting, types of corals. Oh yeah, there is nothing about a nano that is cheap! It maybe cheaper than a traditional reef tank, but it still adds up. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=8741 Link to comment
