Kilroy
I just got my hands on a 75 gallon oceanic with stand and lighting fixture and was wondering what to get for filtration? Link to comment
lou576
A sump is the way to go. You can keep it cheap by just using a rubbermaid container or you can get more expensive by having someone make you an acrylic one. I actually have a 120 gal tank along with a nano and I actually have a 55 gal tank acting as the sump for the 120 gal. Just had some glass sheets cut to make baffles and that was it. If you are not familiar with what a sump is, do a search on it and you should find tons of info. Link to comment
NaNo ChUnK
Most def do a sump... But from personal exsperiences dont use rubermaid tubs b/c they will eventually bow out and you will have a flood. I even used tugh box 400lbs and still did it.. Your best bet is to go to yard sales and look for a glass tanks or you can try Craigslist.org Link to comment
