me03 Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 I've got a nice size button polyp rock in my tank and something is eating it. I've seen a bristleworm and some type of hitchhiker shrimp. Both in/on the rock. I also have two red leg hermits and 5 Astrea snails. The hermits are working the rock but I haven't seen them actually going after living polyps. Any know what might be going on? I have a red-leg, a zebra, and had a blue-leg before I threw him out when I got ####ed he was detaching my shroom. I've had problems with all species, so just keep an eye on him. Are you sure something's eating them, or are they just deteriorating? Maybe check your tank at night sometime. I'm sure you've got nocturnal critters you never thought you had. Link to comment
