reefinnewb Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 I recently had a tank crash due to heat, now i want to rid my problem of heat by going with a more energy efficient les heat producing set up. Its for a 24" long tank. The 70w halide has a current 14k bulb and is retrofitted into a regent fixture. The power compact lighting has one 7100k bulb and a 50/50 bulb fired by a workhorse 5 ballast.
