Diatom outbreak is in full swing.

Looks nice, but I'd get that thermometer off the front of the glass.

Thanks MagElvs. Yeah, I will remove it, but for now with the heat issues here in SoCal, its quicker for me to see the temp. I've got a stick on temp reader in the bottom right of the tank, but at night its hard to see, so that's why I have that one. But, it will be removed.

Not much. Waiting on some test kits I ordered. Calcium, Phosphate & Carbonate Hardness. Diatoms are starting to get on the rock now. I'm thinking of getting a few blue leg crabs and some snails to help, but I'm not sure, maybe I'll just wait it out.

I've had it since it first came out. I had it up a few years back, then I switched to a 20 gl and now a 30 gl. So, I set this up for my 9 year old's room.
