In a tank that small with that many crabs it might turn into rabbit...uh...snail hunting season though. Stars might not be the way to go. I have a few of those mini white brittle stars but they don't do jack in the sand. Link to comment

SaltyDawg Posted March 1, 2003 Share Posted March 1, 2003 Cerith snails are the absolut best sand sifters and strires for small tanks. i put two of them in my 5.5 3 days later they stirred up the sand and cleaned off every bit of my red slime algae! Before the Cerith's there was a lot of blackish looking crude on the substrate as well . after the cerith's nothing but clean white substrate. Link to comment
