Izzue
Wel I fragged the yuma like the article said and failed! LOL I came in yesterday and it smelled really bad....Oh well.... Dont feel bad raptor...I recently purchased a True Purple bullseye Tonga mushroom from aquacon 40 bucks...it was bent over protecting its mouth when I recieved it...called Aquacon...oh ya that one was splitting... Yep 2 weeks later it was almost done splitting and I asume my Flametail blenny sensed the weakness in the tissue area from splitting and made a meal out of both. When I catch that blenny (mistake to begin with) hes going to be cat meat. Izzue Link to comment

The Propagator
You have to SLOWLY AND GENTLY chisle/pry a thin layer of rock off with them so that they come off in one piece. I dont think that was the problem though. Usualy a ripped foot only means a new ric with Yumas. You may have smashed it? Left it out of water to long? Ripped instead of cut? Unstable tank? shrimp ( especialy if you have pep's) will tear and pick at diced up rics and kill them through stress also. The scenarios are endless. Could have been just luck of the draw as well. BTW when you say it was sterylized you didnt do it with alcohol did you? It leaves a residue even though it looks dry. Link to comment
