Iphantom
I have ALOT of debris from my live rock and it is basicly just sitting there it gets stirred up then settles and its really ugly however my water levels are perfect I have tried removing it with a turkey baster but there is just to much of it so I was wondering could I take off my aqua clear and shut of my power head and run my peguin emperor(with out the bio-wheels of course) for like a day just to get rid of this? -this would also mean no light for a day since I can't fit the light on with the emperor- If this is ok would it be ok to take a turkey baster and blow water on the rocks to stir it up so it will all get sucked up? -thanks Matt Link to comment
ajroahkni
Me thinks it'll be OK. Though you'd probably not need to have it on for a whole day, esp. if you're stirring things up w/ the baster. Link to comment
Crakeur
I would think that stirring things up with a baster will also set pods and whatnot into the flow that gets sucked up by the emperor. Might want to try and find another method of removing the debris. I have a similar problem regarding my lights and my microchiller. Sadly, in hot months I am stuck with the lights askew to make room for the chiller. Drives me nuts. Link to comment
