I built my 24g nanocube and after the tank was up and running I figured out I wanted/needed to do additional upgrades. Which is still an ongoing project.

I am hoping that with all your help and advice i can build the JBJ picotope once the right way out of the gate.

Is the JBJ pico the right choice?

Thanks fpor your input in advance.

Yes.

One small goby. That's it. And you'll still get remarks about having it in such a small tank.

Are they simple to maintain?

Yes and no. Yes because your working with such small quatntities, no because you really need to do it more frequently.

What is the most common problem poeple have with the pico?

Stability. It's eay for temps/salinity/nutrients to get completely out of wack, because it is such a small volume of water. Hence the reason people will comment on a fish in less than 5gal of water.

Sounds like you've got one in mind. I've heard the Picotopes are fairly expensive. Most people here just use the 2.5 AGA tank with a HOB and a 18W light fixture with very good results.
