I was looking through all your 40g pictures and I still can't decide where to put my overflow box. Everyone's 40g looks so nice that I can't really decide. I was thinking about putting my overflow box exactly in the middle, the return u-tube on the far right side, a aqua c skimmer on the far left side, and a maxi jet900 right next to the aqua c. Both nozzles will be pointing towards the middle of the tank. What do you guys think about this set up? Any other ideas? Also does anyone know what the "Vent tube w/ small O ring" for the CPR overflow box does? Thanks! Link to comment
andykee Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 that setup sounds good. i have always been a fan of the overflow in the middle, since it allows you to have a smaller overflow because you have 3 sides exposed to the tank, unlike if it is in the corner where you only have 2 open sides.
