Aggie05
Finally got my lights in, 2x32 watt pc hood from champion lighting. They look really good over the tank and i am pleased with the hood. Here is an album of the entire setup from the start up to where it is now. It should be done cycling in a week and then I can get my clowns. http://community.webshots.com/album/63492760bfecDj Link to comment

Aggie05
Yeah I really liked the moonlights, especially for as cheap as they were to make. I just haven't quite figured out how to put them over the tank, but ill figure it out soon. Link to comment
sandman
Standard bulbs make a better moonlight then the LED's..they will shimmer under the wake on the surface....very natural looking! But the LED's do look nice....Like the housing....HMMM radio shack? In HS I rebuilt my Mothers garage door opener to look like a bomb detinator....arming switch..LED's the whole bit....she was not pleased..HA! Link to comment
SoS
did you use any current limiting with that power adapter? I'm worried the current out of power adapters is too much and will just burn those Led's from blue to white without limiting it. What the specs on the adapter? Volts and Amps Link to comment
Aggie05
Yes, i have resisitors on the adapter and they are the proper size. Link to comment
