Can I use the standard bulb, or would I be better off with a 13W P.C. from Hellolights? Will I have to mangle what little hood is there for the light to fit? Link to comment
Chevytrks Posted February 24, 2003 Share Posted February 24, 2003 i would get a jbj clamp on like i did on this 2 gallon nano I dont have this 2 gallon running anymore but it served me very well it is 18 watts and a 50/50 bulb when I upgraded the 2 gallon to a 5 gallon, i disassembled the jbj clamp on to expose nice reflector, and was easy to remove wires, best of all the ballast is in the plug that goes in wall they make the jbj clmap on in 3 sizes a 12 inch, 17 inch, and a 19 inch. 12 inch is 18 watts, 17 inch is 32 watts, and 19 inch is 36 watts and best of all they come complete for 50 bucks or less Link to comment
