Keng Yew, Leong Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 Ok...Mytank has been running for +- 4 months.Things are fine now..(I hope:| ).But there are small red spots on the glass and they are 100% not brown.Thay are just spots so I assume they are not coralline.They are hard to scrape off and grows fast.What can they be and how can I get rid of them?There is no way I can attach a fuge for macroalgae. Caesar Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 My coralline just started to grow on the glass. at first it looked like a bunch of small white spots on the glass but when you look closer the spots are purple. so it maybe coralline growing on your glass. what color is the coralline on your LR? technoshaman Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 Ken, that is probably coralline. It starts in small dots like that and will spread. I'd start scraping it off front glass now, some of the spores dislodged may actually help it spread to more desirable locations. Link to comment
