latazyo
guys, would the 2x36w bright kit from ahsupply be too much lighting for my 10g, I"m not sure what I want to keep yet, but will this bleach a lot of corals, or will this be alright? Link to comment
Spudds
It will be just fine. I, and many others, keep 2x32 over 5.5 gallon tanks. Spudds. Link to comment
tinyreef
i'd call it a 'lunchpail' at best. (see lunchbucket) i've done the 2x32w too and thought it too low. : just remember to properly acclimate the corals/inverts. the acclimation procedure is just as/more important than the light intensity-positioning when discussing the light issues imo. hth Link to comment
latazyo
is there an acclimation procedure somewhere on the site, what is the "proper" way to acclimate corals? Link to comment
Crakeur
go to spsfrags.com and check out his acclimating suggestions. Link to comment
