Marine snow for blood shrimp??

i currently have a 7 gal nano... mostly LPS and softies, which i use marine snow to feed occasionally.( twice a week)

just wondering, can i keep a blood shrimp alive using this feeding regime? or must i buy flake food?

Don't worry they are good scavengers. Shy but you can drop a food pellet or two near his hiding place, mine goes ballistic when he smells food and comes charging out stepping all over my beautiful trachyphllia and fungia. once ot twice a week and he can get that if you are worried.

Yeah, I'm sure blood shrimp's most common food in the wild are small polyps, zooanthids, and such. Generally, they will only attack new growth...but in a well fed tank they may not even do that. There are many accounts of zooanthid growth explosions after loss of a Lysmata shrimp.
