ricknbecky
I know I know....... Bigger is better...... But in this case size doesn't matter But my office needed a bit of life.... Plants? No everyone does those... Dog? No, too many alergies - and biting co-workers..... That being said - I am taking the advice of many of you and: Picked up a AGA7 Minibow Ordered a CSL 32W retrofit This weekend or next I will go and pick up a 50W heater, a powerhead and a HOB After she is all set up - a nice drive with Becky to pick up some LR and LS from TampaBay Salt Water ( since GulfView doesn't make orders smaller than $100 for walk-ins ) I am thinking 2 lbs of LR & LS - I was seeing a few of you minibowers using eggcrete - any pros/cons? Gilman
Welcome to the Minibow Gang! I cut out an eggcrate piece for our Minibow, but then ended up not using it. Just decided it wasn't needed. So far so good without it. Others have had luck with the eggcrate as well though. We have more like 9lbs of Live Rock in our Minibow and around 10lbs of Live Sand. Most will agree you will want around 1lb of Live rock per gallon of water. Good luck! Gil Link to comment
