I have sps in my tank with a fire shrimp and he doesn't bother them but he does bother my anemone. I feed my anem silversides and he goes and takes it away. Link to comment
Charlie97L
as a cleaner shrimp, they can sometimes tell when something is dead or dying, and start to go at it, maybe before it's even had a chance to see if it recovers. i know people have had a problem in the past with cleaners and clams sometimes, where the cleaner senses the clam is going downhill so just goest after it. that might have been it. i added a piece of sps i got yesterday, and the fire shrimp immediately jumped on it and started pulling out fleshy stuff from the skeleton (the little holes).i removed the sps and placed it in another tank. fire shrimps do this?
