natureboy
Hey Everyone, I have a blue-legged hermit that has claimed my candy cane coral. It sits in a nook of the coral 99% of the time and steals food when I attempt to feed the coral. It's annoying me but I don't think the coral minds. So, I thought I could banish it to a quart sized and send it with my hubby to work. Put some sand and live rock in there. Change the water twice a week and feed some fish pellet food. Kind of boring, I know, but will the crab survive without heating and water circulation? I'm guessing it's pretty hardy. Thanks Link to comment
brent-konieczny
I won't say the no circulation would kill them crab pretty fast in such a small environment. The temperature wouldn't really matter. Link to comment
natureboy
Umm, double negatives always confuse me. Anyone think this would work? Link to comment

I meant to say the crab would most likely not make it without water circulation. No oxygenation= PH drops very low+ Ammonia increases Link to comment
