MrDumass
I just got my two clowns two days ago and they are swimming erraticaly and started to show large puffy cottoney spots around the head... Params are all good except the fact that I can't get my DAMN NC24 below 83 degrees...peeks around 85 mid day... I have a feeling the heat is stressing them out...is my assumption right? What can I do?? Link to comment
ReefApprentice
Probably heat. Put some fans and get a chiller. Alex Link to comment
MrDumass
I just slapped an air pump in the hopes of infusing some ambient air into the main display to drop some of that temp in the meantime....what can I do to treat them though? they aren't eating... Link to comment
rbdesigns
It might be brooklynella. http://saltaquarium.about.com/od/ichparasi...rooklynella.htm You have to treat with copper or formalin to get rid of it. I would take them out of the tank and put them in a qt, and lower the salinity to lower their stress. If they end up dying leave the tank without any fish for 6 weeks so the parasite dies.
