I am not new to the hobby I have a 55 gallon FOWLR that has been running since november. Anyway back the the pico. Today i picked up a 2.5 gallon and want to do a mixed reef. Some small xenia frags, LPS and shrooms. For lighting i want to use this. But i dont know what to use for a filter. any suggestions. Link to comment
Daemonfly Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 2.5g are generally too small for a HOB converted into a lighted fuge, so usually we just put any available HOB filter on the back, mainly for flow. I like to put live rock rubble in them for tiny bit of added natural filtration. Link to comment
