My clown tried to jump to freedom

Hi everyone. I need some advice. A few minutes ago I walked by my tank and noticed one of my clowns was missing. I opened the lid (it's a 12 gal aquapod) and found him on top of the filter media in the rear chamber. I quickly tossed him back into the tank, but now I'm worried. I'm not sure how long he was back there, but it couldn't have been very long. Since rejoining the main tank he's just been hovering in one spot looking kinda dazed. I offered a little food, but he wasn't interested. Should I do anything, or just wait and hope for the best? Thanks for any advice.
