hicksonj
I have a bunch of neomeris annulata growing in my 10G. It's not noticeably spreading and looks great, but I want to make sure its safe and not going to get out of control. Does anyone have experience with this type of algae? Link to comment
hicksonj
This stuff is also called caterpiller weed. Some of mine are over an inch long with calcified bases. Link to comment
tinyreef
trying to grow some myself. i thought mine were all eaten up by a tang a couple years back (relax TP, it's main tank, not the nano). but i can't get it past a certain growth length now (about 0.5"). i think there's something still munching on it. it shouldn't be a problem. if it starts multiplying and you don't like it i'd just pull it at the base (and send it to me ).
