Wow, that's a really nice looking tank

Amazing zoas by the way B)

Thank you :)

What are the purple things in the middle?

A partially open colony on Neon GSP. The tank light had only been on for about 10 minutes since I swapped out the bulb for a 14K Phoenix DE.

I hope my tank looks that good at one year!

Nice job!

:D

Thanks! Sorry for the cell phone quality video.

Thanks. It's actually an African Flameback Dwarf Angel. Yep, the blastos are in another tank at home.

It looks okay. Looks like a reef tank in two months though.

Not sure what you meant...but sounds sort of rude.

That african flameback is truely a gorgeous fish! It adds soo much color

to your tank alone! Im really interested in getting one but i question its

reef safe status and its hardiness. Could you maybe elaborate on your

flameback, cause im really thinkin about makin it my centerpiece fish

If you're interested, I'm downgrading my tank and am considering selling my flameback angel. Paid $65 plus tax for it. I'm near you in Irvine. I've had it for 1.5 years and it has been one of the best fish I've kept (15 years in the hobby). It is reef safe. I've only seen it picking at algae.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for your positive comments everyone.

Fate, the stripe is actually a really bright orange. Yes, it's an African Flameback.

Whoa..tank looks great! I've been thinking about getting a flameback angel for my 30 gallon. I know it's pretty much a toss-up, but have you had any problems with it nipping at your corals Stan?

Not at all. I keep him fat with mysis and cyclopeeze.
