But, the Amano shrimp in my FW planted aquarium eat their discarded exoskeletons to get the calcium they need to grow their new one. I've never had a chance to collect the old one. They are chomping away at it almost the minute they have it off! Link to comment
harbingerofthefish Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 when my crabs molt I just leave it in. My spagehtti worms get a hold of it in a few days and eventualy just ends up feeding the tank. Link to comment
