caja
I'm getting ready to stock my tank...very slowly of course! I'd like to get a couple of true or false percs along with some snails and crabs. Can I put both of the percs in the tank or will I overload my bio? Is two percs in the tank too much? Specs: Eclipse System 6 running the bio wheel (good or bad?!?) and a cartridge About 12 pounds of LS and 12 pounds of LR a cool piece of whitish sponge growing on one of the rocks some red and green algae, but no critters yet. Spudds
Two fish is probably a bit too much for a 6 with no refugium (I'm assuming). One perc is probably your best bet, but I'd imagine a false would work out ok too. False generally get a bit larger than trues. Spudds. Link to comment
caja
Thanks. I saw that false percs get about an inch bigger than the true so I better play it safe and go with one true perc and some clean up critters. Link to comment
