Greetings!

im from Singapore and decided to showcase my simple nano tank here

its still in its infant stage and i plan to keep SPS and LPS both in it together with a few fishes..

Tank

Length 2feet x Breadth 1.5feet x Height 1.8feet

With Internal Partition acting as sump

 

Equipment

T5HO Retrofit 1xWhite 1xBlue

Atman 2000l/hr Return pump (also acting as a wavemaker due to the high return pressure)

here is my tank that arrived the day before

gonna fill'er up with freshwater to test for leakage

the overflow in-sump compartment :D

maybe placing chaeto in the second compartment where the return is.

 

still deciding on wheter or not i should get a skimmer.

Using Red Sea Salt And Grade 0 fine sand.

Planning to achieve a natural reef look for this tank.

I've also 26kg of semi-dead"live"rocks place aside for the rockscape of this tank

hey nice tank im moving to singapore this summer, and was wondering were u had the tank made and was it expensive, also how is the whole aquarium market over there is everything as widely available as in the us and is it expensive?

okay..this sounds pretty chummy..but i added the SALT!

"I am the salt of the earth" where does that come from again? :huh:

The salt dissolves pretty fast from 2inch to 1inch within half an hour.

Singapore's aquarium market is relatively cheap!

If im not wrong they sell the copperband at other places at around US$35-$90?

In Singapore the copperband is only S$2 haha!..

Oh yea and the cleaner shrimps here are only $12 each!!

But the equipments here are also rather cheap too!

 

The people here are really nice. We have frag swops frequently and we arent stingy about sharing information or ideas! Not that other are too.. :P
