This tank was meant to be a simple Caribbean FOWLR to hold tropicals I catch in the summer. It seems like it's actually going to become a lot more. I'll list some specs and some pics. By the way, this tank's been running for about 2 months. Tank: 50 gallon breeder with overflow Home made stand Lighting: Current USA Satellite 96W Sump: 20g AGA dividers heater Filtration: bag filter bak pak skimmer bio media in sump Quiet one 3000 return Powerhead in tank for circulation Live rock Livestock: Calurpa Queen conch Turtle conch Astrea Snails Blue leg hermits Coral Banded Shrimp Cowrie Snails other unidentified snails A few close up shots The calurpa is taking off! At the time I didn't really have the extra money to pay for the weight on shipping live rock in water. And mostly because at the time, Richard from TBS wasn't able to get any rock due to the leftovers from last years hurricanes. He said the vis was zero for a while and you couldn't see your own hand underwater. His rock is great though. Mine came from etropicals (owned by fostersmith), it's from Haiti. Link to comment
