riotj Posted April 5, 2006 Author Share Posted April 5, 2006 what do you mean gross? brown algae? I replaced the 7 watt which came with the lighting with a 50.50 that they sell. I stir it up every few days. 30 percent water change once a week. Halfway through the week I skim the surface with a shot glass and replace the amount I remove - about 3-4 shot glasses.
