byrself Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 i've had my tank set up for about 9 months now, and i just added 7lbs of more live rock a couple days ago. no ammonia spikes so far, no nitrites, but trates at 10. think i should do a water change? what do ya'll think is too high for nitrates? thanks Link to comment
Sahin Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 From what I have learnt so far, I think its very wise to do a water change. I think for a reef tanks been running this long, with all the corals and stuff its a little high. 5ppm should be the max in a reef tank. Hope this helps. Link to comment
