harbingerofthefish
As long as you want to keep most softies (shrooms, zoos, etc...) 15 watts should be fine. Just make sure the light is in the 65ooK+ range. It wouldn't cost a lot ($20) to stick another 9 or 13 watt pc over it. Check out Hellolights and AHSupply. Of course this would require you DIY'ing a hood. Link to comment
CPaviary
How ca I find out the 'k's? Alls it says is 15w and only use one 15w bulb Link to comment
harbingerofthefish
You should be able to search for the maker, and find out. Is it an AGA 5 mini-bow your talking about? Is it the light that came with it? If it is, and I'm correct, the bulb is an incandescent right? If so scrap it. Link to comment
CPaviary
No its a normal square aga 5gal. How much do you think it would cost to get a batter light for it? Link to comment
