reefphreak
I have a bag of Aragalive and I was wondering if it would be ok to add it a day before the rock so the cloudiness could settle a little first. Link to comment
glazer
Absolutely! I ran mine a week with just the sand with that sole purpose in mind.... took 7 days ON THE NOSE for all the Southdown to clear...lol Jus' in time fer the rock. QUICK RUN, throw it in there! Link to comment
reefphreak
How about if i add the sand today and then put a micron filter on my tank for the cloudiness? I have a Magnum HOT filter with a micron cartridge hanging around. Link to comment
lizbeth
Yep that will work just fine. I'm just using HOBs with floss. I'm with glazer! Go do it right now! Link to comment
reefphreak
Ok Sand is in and damn what a cool lookin mess. I take it that wherever the powerheads move the sand is where it is gonna stay. My powerheads are blowing it all over the place and will probly naturally shape the sand. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
You may want to turn off the powerheads for now to help it settle. Once the rock is in there the flow of the powerheads is going to change anyways... Link to comment
reefphreak
Holy smokes!! My tank is almost all clear. I went out and bought a new micron cartridge and it has cleared up quite a bit. Link to comment
