gc43 Posted May 23, 2002 Share Posted May 23, 2002 hey everyone, quick questiion.. my mushroom corals came on a pretty small rock, but now they ahev all grown quite a bit and overlap each other when fully open.. should I move these guys? or will they move by themselves.. thanks! Link to comment

printerdown01 Posted May 23, 2002 Share Posted May 23, 2002 You could move them manually, if you want them somewhere specific... Or you could just wait, because they will move themselves... They will start to "bail-off" the rock they are attatched to. Watch for them on the bottom of your tank (sometimes the will land on your LR, but more often than not they will end up in the sand). At this point they will attach to some substrate. You can then use superglue to glue the substrate to a location where you want them. It is easier to glue the sand to your rock than it is the shroom itself, as shrooms produce a weird mucus (especially if you have cut them off their orig base) when you try to glue them to a rock (sometimes the glue won't hold). Any other suggestions here? -cause these are the only two I can think of... Link to comment
