I ended up having to use my dad's lap top to get some pictures on here

what I see most people do to these tanks is just take the bulb that came with it and replace it witha 50/50 bulb but what I did is I completely gutted the in side of my hex's hood I then took apart the fixture 13 wat that came with my other tank and used the ballats and light socket in the hood of my 1.6 gallon hex so now I have I guess 6.5 wats of actinic and 6.5 wats of 10k. I might ad a small fan later if any heat issues arise

well, I will also be starting a 5 gallon quarantine tank from an old eclips bow

front I had laying around I modified the hood to take 40 watts worth

of those ten wat 50/50 screw in bulbs, funny my attempt to start up

one pico has turned into three picos

Sweet turtles. I take care of one at my school. I catch feeder fish from the tank, break their neck, and feed him that every couple days. What do you feed yours?

well since mine are all babies I give them repto mini turtle pellets

dusted with cacium once a day to help their shells and bones develop

but they also have a bunch of little guppies that have actualy started

reproducing in the tank that they will eat when ever they get lucy

enough to catch one (it's funny as heck watch them chase the little guys!)

and this week i am experimenting with ghost shrimp to see if they will eat

those but even if they don't it will help keep the algea under control, and

every other day I give them lettuce and other vegatables

Thanks. I'll be getting my camera back in about a week. I'll show my hairy shroom, blastos, new zoos, wood polyps, ect.. I'm also going to update the 1 gal jar thread.

It's that shipping time/waiting time of the month. I myself am waiting for 3 seperate orders from different places. I probably get pics for my thread the same time as you do so keep an eye out .

some LR for both the 4 gallon and the hex to get them cycling

okay, I didn't get down to the lfs today but I was just thinking, how would

you aqua scape a tall hex tank? would you do kind of a pillar thing in the

middle or have the rock work sloping towards the bottom or what?

if it were me, i would probably go with a pillar in the middle that tapers off at the top, but how much room will you have to move around in there when you put stuff in?

that's kind of what I was thinking and I'm not going to have a lot of room no matter what I do.

but any way, I will be starting to building a night stand that the 4

gallon will sit on today here is a very, very rough scetch of what it will hopefuly look like:
