SeaFish
i just bought an emeral crab (about half an inch across not including the legs) and it started picking up sand from teh bottom and placing it onto their shell. i was wondering is this normal of emeral crabs? it seem to be decorating itself. i know some crabs do, but does emeral crabs do that too? i know i have an emeral crab for sure because i have on in my 55 gallon tank. the one i bought today is for my 20 gallon reef tank. does anyone know?? Korbin
Drysocket told me that his had some red hair algae that it had been eating on its legs after it molted. And one time mine was walking around wearing a snail-poop-hat. But I wouldn't call that decorating. Link to comment
Spudds
I think we've all worn the proverbial "snail poop hat" once or twice in our life. Spudds. Link to comment
