Argent
I have one sitting at my desk here at work and was wondering if it would make a nice pico reef tank instead of a blah tropical one. It's got the built in lighting/filtration setup in the hood but I'm not sure what I'd need to make this work (or if it would work very well) Link to comment
brent-konieczny
I'm thinking the only things you will need is a light upgrade, heater (if you dont have one), maybe a small powerhead, and a very thorough knowledge of how to keep a reef tank. What other experience do you have with reef tanks? Link to comment
aquadrone100377
If I were you I would ditch the hood, tintergraded filter system and all. and get a 12" satellite dual compact flourescent fixtuer w/ moon lights, which would fit perfectly (make sure you get the mounting legs too) an aqua clear 20 or 30, and a small 25w heater. oh and maybe a small power head too, just to be safe and you'd be in buisness! you can get all of this at drsfostersmith.com Link to comment
