some? how many and how bigs the tank?

If they run out of alternatives you might have problems. In anything under 40 gallons I'd keep only one. There great on bubble algea, makes them worth the risk.

I caught mine eating some macro algae that I wanted to keep once. When I put in some Spectrum pellets, he quit, though. I think they probably only eat your stuff when there's nothing else readily available to them. If you toss a couple sinking food pellets in every couple days, you should be fine.

Only problem I've had with my Mythrax is that he scrapes down to bare rock...straight through coralline algae..which is why I have purple and white striped rock! lol. other than that..he's great!
